Crystal energy therapy in Reiki PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 20 February 2010  |  Written by XCRYSTAL

Crystal therapy involves the use of precious and semi-precious stones. The stones are believed to store positive energy and they act as a conduit for healing from the practitioner to the recipient. They also believed to generate a healing vibration that acts upon the body. In some cases the stone is placed on the body where treatment is focused, in others it may be positioned on the appropriate acupuncture point. Most therapists use quartz for physical healing, amethyst for spiritual healing and rose quartz to heal emotions. Fluorite may be used to develop awareness and knowledge of a spiritual nature.

Rock crystal, held in the hand or between the hands, can also be used in conjunction with Reiki meditation.Reiki is a Japanese form of healing that is becoming increasingly popular worldwide. What makes Reiki unique is that it incorporates elements of just about every other alternative healing practices such as spiritual healing, auras, crystals, chakra balancing, meditation, aromatherapy, naturopathy, and homeopathy.

Reiki involves the transfer of energy from practitioner to patient to enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself through the balancing of energy. Reiki utilizes specific techniques for restoring and balancing the natural life force energy within the body. It is a holistic, natural, hands-on energy healing system that touches on all levels: body, mind, and spirit.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word representing universal life energy, the energy which is all around us. It is derived from rei, meaning "free passage" or "transcendental spirit" and ki, meaning "vital life force energy" or " universal life energy".

The energy emanating from the crystal is thought to go into the palms and then the rest of the body via the reflex zones. It is recommended by some in a variety of applications such as relaxation, wound-healing with other therapy and treating particular organs.

Rose quartz, with its soft pink coloration, is used for mending emotional problems. Examples are: shutting out certain desires or facing trauma and stress brought about by a separation. In Reiki, three varieties of quartz are commonly used-amethyst, rose quartz and ordinary quartz (or rock crystal). The crystal structure of quartz is often taken to be related to the six chakras and the tip of the crystal to the seventh chakra. Practitioners recommend using rock crystal to avoid feeling overpowered by changes, mounting pressures and the stress of everyday life. Carrying the crystal or wearing it is meant to bring light into your workaday routines.

How are crystals formed and how to make the size of crystal growing PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 12 February 2010  |  Written by XCYSTAL

In this article we will discuss how are crystals formed. The process of crystals formation and crystal growth is called "nucleation". In simple words, this is the proces in which the molecules of the particular element start combining with each other and create crystal or grow the size of crystal. There are two different types of nucleation process. To understand the process of crystal formation and growth, let us study these two types of crystal formation processess, in detail. The two types are "unassisted nucleation" and "assisted nucleation".

The size of crystal keeps on growing but it stops the further growth, when an equilibrium is created between the solute molecules in the solution and in the crystal inside. Now the maximum size of crystal is formed and will not grow any more in the solution.

This was the process of crystal formation and growth with the unassisted nucleation process. As the name indicates, this is the process of crystals formation which is initiated by the molecules themselves without the assistance of some other solid material in the solution. In every solution there are two basic things solvent and solute. For example when sugar is mixed in the water, the water is called solvent(major part) and sugar is called solute (minor part).  Usually the solute molecules attract each other, but this attraction force is very weak and cannot result in the crystals formation. But in case, if the solute molecules are in the pure form, there may be some stronger forces of attraction among them. In this case the solute molecules start aggregating and grow in size.

The Assisted nucleation process of crystals formation and growth is very similar to unassisted method. The only difference is that another solid substance is added in the solution to start the process of molecules aggregation. When the solute molecules have not enough strong attraction between them then this process is used to make the crystals. Let me explain in a little detail the crystal formation with the process of assisted nucleation.

In this process, a solid thing like a brick or stone or some other thing is added in the solution. When this solid thing is added in the solution, the solute molecules are adsorbed in its surface for a longer time. During this time more and more solute molecules are adsorbed on the surface and gives the solute molecules a chance and place to combine with each other. The reason is that the solid stone resists the forces that try to separate the solute molecules in the solution. When a sufficient number of solute molecules are adsorbed on the surface, a protocrystal is formed. Now the rest of the process is same as was in the unassisted nucleation.

Romantic Illusion Crystal Bridal Jewelry PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 11 February 2010  |  Written by XCYSTAL

Are you looking for a wedding gown which is elegant, romantic, and timeless? Something different than the typical strapless bridal gown? Then take a look at some of the latest illusion neckline wedding gowns, which have a special ladylike charm.  So you’re getting married soon and you and your future spouse decide it’s time to start planning for the big day. Besides the venue, the caterer, photographer, wedding gown, rings, cake, flowers, and more, you have to get a DJ or a band for your musical entertainment. Let’s say you decide to choose a DJ over a band. A lot of top-notch professional wedding Djs get booked anywhere from 6 months to 18 months in advance, so start looking early especially if your wedding date is in May or June.

Illusion necklines also look beautiful for v-neck wedding gowns. The main bodice of the gown would be in an opaque fabric, and then the sheer illusion panel is used to create the straps which go over the shoulder. It is a pretty alternative to a basic v-neck style, one which has a lighter and more delicate appearance. A dainty crystal pendant would be an ideal piece of bridal jewelry to complement such a graceful neckline.

Oftentimes, an illusion panel will be embellished with light beadwork. It can be absolutely breathtaking to see a sheer fabric which twinkles and sparkles with the glow of many tiny crystals. The effect against the skin which is visible through the illusion material is just gorgeous. Play up the crystal detail with fabulous crystal bridal jewelry to match. The overall effect will be a truly sophisticated and elegant bridal ensemble.
